About Us
Since 1975, VegMin Learning Society has been dedicated to promoting lifelong learning among adults in the Town of Vegreville and County of Minburn. We strive to offer accessible, flexible, and affordable learning opportunities, removing barriers to education. The Society is a registered under the Alberta Society’s Act as a not-for-profit and governed by a Board of Directors. We are funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education through the Community Adult Learning Program (CALP).
1 in 5 adults in Alberta face daily literacy and numeracy challenges. VegMin Learning Society’s main focus is providing classes and tutoring that enable individuals to improve their skills. Types of classes range from basic English to math to computer use. Check out our Class Schedule for more details.
